The tour of Mount Acuto

It starts from Ceriale. You cross the “Capo of Borghetto” and reach the medieval village of Toirano. After the village begins the ascent with a constant slope, without ever being too steep.
In many places you can enjoy a beautiful sea view. About halfway there is the historic village of Balestrino, after which the landscape takes on a more mountainous aspect. In a few kilometers you get to the sanctuary, which is located on the top of the mountain, at 813 meters above sea level. From there the trail starts. It is a 10 kilometers long single track completely along the mountain ridge and always with a breathtaking sea view. With more than an hour downhill you reach the coast of Ceriale, facing a difference in altitude of 800 meters.
